Deletion Nomination at Commons
[edit]Hi,
Don't know if you're still active, but I thought you should know that I have nominated some of your images for deletion; Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForHirohisat.png, Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForMatthew.png, Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForBlnguyen.png, Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForAlison.png, Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForAcalamari.png, Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ForPNT.png.
Nothing personal; this is not a reflection on the quality of the images, but because they are of no meaningful use beyond what they were specifically designed for. Ubcule (talk) 19:58, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Ping
[edit]I have sent you an e-mail. --Tenmei (talk) 18:28, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Monk and Fish.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Monk and Fish.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:18, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of '1995 in' articles
[edit]You closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of '1995 in' articles as delete all but another editor has redircet them (the ones I looked at anyway) to the actual year article. I see no need to keep them as redirects. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 06:17, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Regarding File:Janis Lyn Joplin.jpg
[edit]I have removed File:Janis Lyn Joplin.jpg which you added to 27 Club with this edit, because it does not have a valid non-free media use rationale for the article. Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content for the applicable policy and Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline if you want to address the issues. Thank you. Infobox Korean Film
[edit]Hello @pple, there is a debate on Template Talk on the topic of merging Infobox Korean Film into the generic Infobox Film category effectively deleting Hangul, Hanja, and both forms of romanization from the Infobox. As you are the one who created the template I am hoping for you to contribute your thoughts. Thank you. ₪RicknAsia₪ 13:42, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
[edit]Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three-year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
